Songs that make you feel like the main character

Headphones on, city lights outside the window, and suddenly your day has a soundtrack.

Remember Home

2021

“Breathing in the night”

Remember Home is the soundtrack of a journey: memories flashing by among the city lights, and home coming with you wherever you go.

Play it for a night walk through the city, or a ride with the windows down.

Fast pop at 155 BPM. In its video the song starts the moment an old radio is switched on, then rides through a city of lights at night.

“I’m walking on a desert road”

It starts on a desert road under a blue sky and ends with two people moving toward the same place.

Play it for a long road trip, or the first morning somewhere new.

A galloping country feel under an electronic beat at 128 BPM, like a long road filmed from above.

What are main character songs?: Songs that make an ordinary moment feel like a scene in a film where you are the lead: walking through the city with headphones on, a long drive, the last day of a trip.
When do people listen to main character songs?: On the way somewhere. Commutes, night walks, train windows and road trips are where these songs work best, because the world outside becomes the picture.
What makes these two songs feel like a film?: Movement. Remember Home runs at 155 BPM like a night ride, and Break the Distance gallops toward someone at the end of a long road.
